KeySwap — Mac & Windows Keys
The short version: KeySwap collects no data whatsoever. It contains no networking code of any kind, so there is nothing it could send and nowhere it could send it. Put your device in airplane mode — the app works in full.
This page isn't describing safeguards around data we hold. It's describing the absence of the data itself.
Nothing. In Apple's App Privacy taxonomy, KeySwap is declared as Data Not Collected.
The app never asks for a name, email, or anything else. You buy it, you open it, it works.
There is no networking code in the app at all — no analytics, no crash reporters, no ads, no third-party SDKs.
Your favourites, custom shortcuts, quiz progress and cheat-sheet selection are stored locally in the app's own container.
One purchase through the App Store. No subscription, no in-app purchases, nothing tracking whether you "engage".
KeySwap has one optional feature that touches a system permission: the cheat-sheet builder can save the wallpaper it generates to your photo library, so you can set it as your lock screen.
None. No cloud storage, no sign-in providers, no analytics, no ad networks. The only party that receives any app-related information is Apple, through the App Store itself (your purchase, and the aggregate download/crash statistics Apple provides to every developer), governed by Apple's privacy policy rather than ours.
Everything the app knows lives on your device. Deleting the app deletes all of it. There is nothing held anywhere else that could survive, because nothing ever left your device.
If the app's behaviour ever changes, this page changes with it and the date below is updated. The principle is not up for revision: an app built to work without a network stays without a network.
